Bear is my original character, or OC, from a setting rattling around in my head. In this setting, Britain fractured after the Thatcher administration and the intervention of a dragon that has since vanished, and in the following peacetime the village of Littleden maintains its independence just south of the Republic of Northumbria. Bear is an enigma who appeared in Littleden in a time of post-conflict crisis and became its unofficial protector, armed with little more than her wits, her physique and a metal claw fused to her right hand, keeping the village independent. With the arrival of Gun Star, Bear assists Realm in keeping Agent Galway of the Three Rivers distracted while also aiding in the search for the Glass Dragon.
